"I am the best way any human can relate to Papa or Sarayu. To see me is to see them. The love you sense from me is no different from how they love you. And believe me, Papa and Sarayu are just as real as I am, though, as you've seen, in far different ways." (page 112.) The importance in this passage is that Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are all one person. They all love all of us. They are also just as real but in different ways.
"I don't need to punish people for sin. Sin is its own punishment, devouring you from the inside. It's not my purpose to punish it; it's my job to cure it." (page 128) The importance of this passage is that we should feel bad when we have committed a sin but also know that God won't be angry with us, He just wants us to ask Him for forgiveness and it is His job to grant us this forgiveness.
"Mack, if anything matters then everything matters. Because you are important, everything you do is important. Every time you forgive, the universe changes; every time you reach out and touch a heart or a life, the world changes; with every kindness and service, seen or unseen, my purposes are accomplished and nothing will ever be the same again." (p. 235.) The importance of this passage is that God loves us so much. Everything we do is important, changes the world, and is not lost on God. This passage makes you want to do kind things, because even if nobody notices, God has, and you have greatly affected someone.
